I am humbled and proud to state that my new exhibition of Nisei Veterans who patriotically fought for this country while many of their family were imprisoned in camps will be shown in this historical building!! This is not just a Japanese American story, but a true American Story!!

From May 4th - June 10th 2018, my exhibition "Portraits of Courage" will be here at 355 E.1st St. in Little Tokyo. I would have never dreamed that I would be able to show my portraits in such an important building to the history of the Japanese Americans!

Please join us for a Grand Opening weekend reception on Sat. & Sun. May 5-6, 2018 as Shane Sato, Robert M Horsting and a few of the Nisei veterans will be on hand both Sat. & Sun from 11 am to 6 pm to sign books.

"Portraits of Courage" will be located in the historic former Nishi Hongwanji Buddhist temple site on the west side of the plaza at First St. and Central Ave. in Little Tokyo. The entrance will be the same museum entrance as the Go For Broke National Education Center museum. Admission is FREE!!
